Bank of America Honors Johns Creek Employee
Roger Borrello has spent more than 750 hours volunteering in his community.

Roger Borrello of Johns Creek was honored recently by his employer, Bank of America, for his more than 750 hours of volunteer work in 2015. Borrello volunteers with an organization that helps couples strengthen their marriage and better communicate with each other.
Borrello was inspired to volunteer in 2003 after he and his wife, Annie, attended a Worldwide Marriage Encounter (WWME) retreat. They decided to get involved and help couples across the Southeast strengthen their relationships.

“I am so appreciative of Bank of America’s flexibility to employees to volunteer in ways important to us individually,” he said.
Borrello, a systems engineer, has worked with Bank of America for 19 years. He credits the company for encouraging and supporting volunteerism.

Bank of America employees are encouraged to volunteer their talents to help bring beneficial change to communities around the world. Last year company employees volunteered 2 million hours in a variety of ways from mentoring young people, to feeding the hungry and supporting the needs of veterans.
