Over 850 tickets were purchased during the two-night performance of “The Big Picture.”

Barnwell Elementary School parent Cindy Lieberman said a small percentage of those purchases could have been made by residents who attended the show on both nights, so it “would be safe to say” that at least 800 different people turned out for the performance.

The musical, made up of the school’s fourth- and fifth-grade students, revolved around the close knit cast of the Semi-Famous A1 Acting Troupe, who finds out their show is in trouble and their friendships are tested to the limits.

The original comedic play was written by Whitney King, Jamie Moore, Eric Nash and Lexi Klupchak.
