Blotter: Silver Stolen From Home; Items Shoplifted from Ross, Walgreen's

The following information was supplied by the Johns Creek Police Department.

Burglary

On April 11 a home on Hedgewick Trail was reported broken into. About $250 worth of loose silver was reported stolen.

Shoplifting

On April 9 a 31-year-old man was arrested and charged with shoplifting at Walgreen's on Kimball Bridge Road. The manager told police that he watched the man remove the price codes from less expensive merchandise and move them to more expensive merchandise to make fraudulent purchases.

On April 13 a store manager at Ross on Medlock Bridge Road told police that a man wearing a Jamaican wig cut off a key used to remove security tags from items from the cash register. An employee watched the man leave the store with some unpaid items after paying for some.

Theft

On April 9 a resident on Autry Trail reported the license plate stolen from his vehicle.

On April 11 a license plate was reported stolen from a car parked at Liberty Tax Service on State Bridge Road.

On April 13 a resident on Windbrooke Way reported a cell phone, money and passport stolen from his home while he was having a garage sale.

Vehicle Break-Ins

On April 8 a vehicle parked at Kroger on State Bridge Road was reported broken into. About $600 worth of school books and $100 cash was reported stolen.

On April 8 a vehicle on Spyglass Bluff Drive was reported broken into. A license plate was reported stolen from inside the vehicle.
