Blotter: Woman Publicly Drunk on Grape Wine

The following information was supplied by the Johns Creek Police Department.

On June 11 Johns Creek Police reported to a drunken person call, and possibly an unconscious person, near the tennis courts at the Stonefield subdivision. When police arrived firemen were already on the scene talking with a middle-aged white female who appeared to be intoxicated. She was sitting in a pine straw bed near the swim and tennis center and appeared to have fallen down. The woman had a shopping bag with a nearly empty bottle of Longhorn grape wine.

The woman admitted to drinking the wine and refused medical care. She became loud and argumentative with the fire personnel and said she wanted to go home. After a medical evaluation at the scene, a police officer transported her to her residence in the subdivision. The woman was charged with disorderly conduct and released into the custody of her son.
