Families Invited to 'Fun Fridays' in Downtown Duluth

Historic Downtown Duluth and Macaroni Kid have joined forces to sponsor "Fun Friday" events and activities to create a staycation itinerary of fun in and out of the sun. The Duluth merchants are working together to offer family-friendly fun and inexpensive activities for kids who are staying close to home during summer vacation and to provide a place where families can gather and spend the day shopping, eating and visiting with friends while their kids are entertained. 9am-10am: FREE 
Every Friday morning, join the Flash Mob dance practice with Miss Cindy on the Town Green. Adults and kids of all ages can get some great exercise and be part of a Flash Mob somewhere very exciting this summer.

10am -11am: FREE
This week's "Storytime, Craft & a Snack" will be at Hardeman Fine Art Glass at 3111 Main Street, Duluth. Enjoy a story, make a craft and have a snack.

11am-1pm: $5
Hear ye, hear ye...you are invited to a Princess Tea at the Sleeping Beauty Castle inside the New Dawn Theatre at 3087 Main St., Duluth. 11am-1pm: FREE
Boys hang out at the "Duluth Beach" around the fountain and play pick up games with the Duluth Parks & Recreation team while the girls are at the tea. 

1-3pm: $2.50 each
Wholly Pops will be selling delicious and nutritious Popsicles. The passion of the creator of Wholly Pops is to convert what has traditionally been an unhealthy sort of snack filled with food coloring and chemicals, to a high end, guilt-free, handcrafted treat. Made from fresh fruits and vegetables, they have a delicious variety of flavors including: Apple Cucumber Mint, Blueberry Mango, Coconut, Mango Strawberry, Papaya Lime Twist, Passion Fruit, Peach Basil, Peanut Butter Banana, Pineapple Chile, Strawberry Banana, Strawberry Lime,Watermelon Cucumber and they are always coming up with new flavor combos.   

3-4pm:
MOMS@3: Mothers on Main Street at 3pm time out. Moms are invited to sign the kids up for an activity and enjoy well deserved "me time" and special discounts.
