What's for Dinner on the Airlines?

Arthur Frommer, my favorite travel guru, has given us new insight into what the airlines are offering passengers to make us comfortable. A must read for anyone who enjoys travel as much as me.

Arthur Frommer has been our travel guru for, let's just say, many years. I love his travel books and live by his recommendations. Usually Arthur and now daughter, Pauline, are right on the mark with expert travel advice.

I would love to share the below link for you to see what some of the airlines are still doing to please their passengers. Some airlines still aim to please. Whether it's a meal selection onboard or helping you with your ground accommodations, this list of exceptional airline amenities is sure to please.

Delta, Atlanta's own based airline, did not make the list. I don't consider peanuts and pretzels a gourmet meal. There are, for those traveling across the pond with Delta, still meals. Although I do not consider salty boxed chicken (which I don't eat anyway) or dried pasta, which they have been serving for at least the past 7 years,  good selections either.

Traveling via air these days is a difficult task. For some of us, who love to travel, nothing will deter us from stepping onboard. I know it doesn't matter to me what I am served. It is more important where that flight takes me. Alex will disagree, since I am a bit of a snob when it comes to traveling in "steerage," but the fact is, I really don't care as long as I get to my destination.

Business class is wonderful, but I must use a quote from my mother, who was very wise. She said, as she was teaching me to drive on the streets of Brooklyn, "go straight, the back of the car goes exactly where the front goes." The same applies to an aircraft. No matter what the dinner service onboard is, the back of the plane follows the front, so no worries about getting from point A to point B.
