Park Place To Remain Closed Through Feb. 5
Johns Creek initially hoped to reopen Park Place by Jan. 23, but said repairs to a broken pipe are taking longer than anticipated.

JOHNS CREEK, GA — The city of Johns Creek said repairs on a broken pipe inside Park Place will force staff members to keep the community gathering spot closed for an additional two weeks.
The city on Monday, Jan. 22 said that the repairs in the kitchen area are taking longer than initially anticipated, so the reopening date has been pushed back to Monday, Feb. 5.

"We apologize for the inconvenience and we’re working to relocate as many activities and programs as possible to the Newtown Community Clubhouse," the city added on its Facebook page.
The Newtown Park Community Clubhouse is located next door to Park Place. If you are enrolled in one of the city's fitness classes, you will receive an email about your specific class and meeting time.
