Historic Home Open House at Autrey Mill Nature Preserve

Johns Creek, GA – Step back in time and explore the rich history of Johns Creek at Autrey Mill’s Historic Home Day. This free community event offers a rare opportunity to tour several of Autrey Mill’s preserved historic buildings, each hosted by knowledgeable docents ready to share the stories of the past.
Tour four historic buildings:
- Tenant Farmhouse
- Summerour House
- Green Store
- Warsaw Church
“These buildings hold the stories of the people who built Johns Creek,” says Lizen Hayes, Executive Director. “We’re excited to open them up and bring those stories to life.”
Autrey Mill will host Historic Home Days twice a year—once in the spring and once in the fall—offering ongoing opportunities for the public to connect with local history.
All ages welcome. Free admission—donations appreciated to support preservation.
