Campaigning at Taxpayer Paid Event

Johns Creek taxpayers paid a company to organize a recycling event--but it was was turned into a campaign event for candidate Horton

I don't know about other Johns Creek taxpayers, but I take exception to a TAXPAYER-PAID event being turned into a political Meet & Greet for ANY Candidate!
Last weekend, I was surprised that campaigners for Vicki Horton had swarmed the Johns Creek recycling event, making it appear to be supported--exclusively---by the Horton Campaign. Every single voting aged person that came to the recycling event was approached by a Horton volunteer--or Horton herself soliciting for votes.
Since when does the taxpayer pay for an audience for ANY candidate?
So--here it is---right before the runoff election and right before your very eyes--a wannabe politician leveraging a taxpayer funded event for personal political advantage! If Horton will do it Before the election, what will they do AFTER the election?
Clearly, this is poor judgement by the Horton campaign, and shows a lack of ethical acumen by blurring of lines between campaigning and city business.
I DON'T LIKE IT! It is INAPPROPRIATE! Did someone in the administration approve this? If so it is blatant bias!

I demand city fathers pass resolutions prohibiting similar compromising ethical issues like this in the future.
