Charlie Liu is the winner for the 6th Congressional District.

Each year the United States Congress challenges students in their respective districts to create and submit their original apps for a chance to win the Congressional App Challenge. Winners are recognized in Washington, DC and each winning app may be put on display in the U.S. Capitol Building for one year.

Started in 2016, the CAC has reached nearly 9,000 students across 42 states. The Congressional App Challenge’s mission is to inspire, include, and innovate efforts around STEM, coding and computer science education.

By personally interacting with their student constituents, Member of Congress are connected to new and emerging technologies. This year’s winner for the 6th District of Georgia is Charlie Liu, a junior from Chattahoochee High School.
