Chattahoochee HS Senior signs with University of Maryland
Hooch's Chakroun to Play Soccer at Maryland

Chattahoochee High School’s Jacob Chakroun has signed a National Letter of Intent to play soccer for the University of Maryland. Maryland is an NCAA Division I school and competes in the Big-Ten conference.
Jacob Chakroun played for the Chattahoochee Boys' Varsity soccer team as a freshman in 2014. As a sophomore, Chakroun spent a year playing soccer for Marbella United FC in Spain, where he gained experience playing against top soccer Spanish academies. As a junior he played DA soccer with Concorde Fire, and as a senior he plays for KSA Pro-Profile Academy. Jacob played youth soccer at Ambush Soccer Club in Alpharetta starting at age 5.
Some of Jacob’s many soccer accomplishments include: ODP (Olympic Development Program), Regional Team. (2011-2015), US National Training Program. (2013/14), RPL (Region champion 2015), Disney Soccer Showcase, Orlando, Florida (Finalist 2014. Champion 2013, Finalist 2012), Annandale Premier Cup Showcase, Annandale, Virginia, US (Champion 2013),Super Y National, Bradenton, Florida, US (Champion 2014), National League upcoming finals (summer of 2019 in Kansas, US)

Jacob has also attended many international training, camps and tryouts experiences, including: Chievo Verona, Chievo, Italy (2017), Stabaek FC , Oslo, Norway, (2017), FC Mallorca and FC Europa, Spain (2016),U.C Sampdoria Football Club, Italy (2015).
