JOHNS CREEK, Ga. — Almost 23 years after it first opened its doors and more than five months after it was closed for a complete rebuild, the Johns Creek Chick-fil-A restaurant at 3643 Peachtree Parkway will reopen with the chain’s newest design on May 30.

The reopening of the restaurant comes as franchise owner Steve Troutman celebrates nearly 35 years with Chick-fil-A, Inc. He and his team look forward to welcoming their returning guests to the restaurant which features the vintage heritage interior design and the chain’s latest kitchen, dining room and double drive-thru innovations.

Guests will appreciate the larger tables in a dining room featuring premium finishes including subway tile and large windows, as well as a large gathering table made from reclaimed wood and a custom light fixture made from recycled Coca-Cola bottles. Other highlights include an updated, interactive indoor play area for children and free Wi-Fi. Guests on the go will find a drive-thru system featuring expanded face-to-face ordering, outdoor canopies, and an additional lane, enhancing the chain’s award-winning drive-thru service.

This effort has also included being committed to serving the community outside the restaurant. Considered one of the first 100 Franchisees with Chick-fil-A, Troutman first worked to help manage some of the company’s original locations for two years prior to becoming an operator at Sarasota Square Mall in 1985. Troutman and his wife, Miriam, and their two sons, Lee and Steven, have planted deep roots into the South Forsyth and Johns Creek communities which they have called home for more than a decade.
