Company Helps Churches Fight Zika, West Nile Virus Threats

JOHNS CREEK, GA -- A metro Atlanta company wants to help area churches prevent illnesses spread by mosquitoes.

The Mosquito Authority, North Atlanta will offer free treatments to churches that will be hosting vacation bible school programs this year. The service will be offered to churches in the Alpharetta, Dunwoody and Johns Creek areas, the organization said in a press release.
The initiative is designed to "help keep children, pregnant women and other volunteers safe," the group added.

These free treatments will be done in outdoor common areas and will last 21 days, which coincides with the life span of a mosquito.
The Mosquito Authority is a veteran-owned company that wants to do its part in keeping children, pregnant women and other volunteers attending VBS safe from the Zika virus, West Nile virus and other mosquito-born dangers.
