This time around, the City Council seat was vacated by Bob Gray, who resigned to seek the vacant Georgia 6th Congressional District seat.

Gray did not rack up enough votes to advance to the June 20 runoff for the seat. Republican Karen Handel and Democrat Jon Ossoff will battle for the seat vacated by Tom Price.
