Crews from Monday to Wednesday will replace key equipment on the 12 traffic signals along the route, the city of Johns Creek said.

Traffic signals at specific intersections will go dark for about 10 minutes while crews replace conflict monitors, “which ensure that green and red lights are coordinated properly,” the city added.

The monitors prevent the traffic signals from simultaneously displaying green lights in all directions.

A police officer will be on hand to direct traffic while the work is underway. The equipment will be replaced between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m., the city added.
