Doctors Open New Practice in Johns Creek

Cardiovascular Physicians of North Georgia is located at 3890 Johns Creek Parkway.

JOHNS CREEK, GA -- Cardiovascular Physicians of North Georgia is now up and running in Johns Creek.

The office is at 3890 Johns Creek Parkway Suite 240, and Dr. Micky Mishra, a highly trained board-certified cardiologist, will lead the practice.

“Our practice is excited to provide the Johns Creek and Suwanee communities with the patient-centered cardiovascular care our specialists are renowned for,” said Dr. Mishra. “Heart disease is one of the leading causes of death in our community and it often goes untreated until it’s too late.”

Dr. Mishra is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology, and has clinical interests in cardiomyopathies, valvular disorders, coronary artery disease, cardiovascular imaging, women’s heart disease and cardiovascular disease prevention.

The doctor is also board certified in cardiovascular medicine, nuclear cardiology, echocardiography and cardiovascular computed tomography, and is trained at the highest level in several areas of cardiology, including Level III Echocardiography, Level III Cardiac CT, Level III Cardiac MRI and Level II Nuclear Cardiology.

Dr. Mishra was the founder of North Atlanta Cardiology, and she has served as an assistant professor in the Division of Cardiology at Emory University. She completed her training in general cardiology at the Cleveland Clinic and Tulane University, and she completed two additional years of advanced training in cardiovascular imaging from the Cleveland Clinic, where she was mentored by some of the best cardiologists in the world.
