Document Shredding On June 16 In Johns Creek

The event, which also includes a chance to recycle cooking oils and grease, will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 11360 Lakefield Drive.

JOHNS CREEK, GA — On Saturday, Johns Creek residents will soon be able to shred sensitive documents and recycle fluorescent bulbs and cooking fats, oils and grease.

The city and Keep Johns Creek Beautiful will host a document shredding and recycling drive from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, June 16 at 11360 Lakefield Drive, the future home of Johns Creek City Hall.

Documents will be shredded on-site, and the paper will be recycled. You can also drop off gently used clothing and shoes, which will be donated to American Kidney Services.

Please note the city's event is free for residents; however, there will be a fee of up to $5 to recycle fluorescent bulbs for those who live outside Johns Creek. You should also note this event does not include electronics recycling.
