Early Voting Begins Oct. 16 In Fulton County

The deadline to register to vote in the Nov. 7 county and city elections is Tuesday, Oct. 10.

FULTON COUNTY, GA -- Fulton County is preparing to open nearly two dozen early voting sites so you can cast your ballots ahead of the Nov. 7 general municipal and special elections. Early voting will begin Monday, Oct. 16 and will run through Friday, Nov. 3 from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The county will also offer one weekend of early voting: 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 28 and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 29. Residents are encouraged to take advantage of early voting to avoid long lines on Election Day.

“We are excited about being able to offer 17 days of early voting to Fulton County residents,” said Richard Barron, director of Fulton County Registration and Elections. “We are hoping that by providing choices and weekend hours, more people will vote early which can result in reducing Election Day lines.”
