Egg Hunts Return To Johns Creek

The Spring Park Party and Egg Hunt as well as the Special Needs Egg Hunt will be held Saturday, April 15.

JOHNS CREEK, GA -- The warmer temperatures and longer daylight hours is a sign that the city of Johns Creek is gearing up for its annual egg hunts for youngsters in the community.

The Spring Park Party and Egg Hunt are right around the corner, and the city is hoping for a great turnout.

This year's spring event will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 15 at Shakerag Park. Egg hunt times will be staggered by age. Residents are encouraged to save the date and make a plan to attend this year's event.

The hunt will be structured according to age with youngsters organized by ages 0-2, 3-4, 5-7, and 8-10.

Activities include face painting, a moonwalk, and photos with the Easter Bunny. Egg hunters should bring their own baskets, and parents should bring their own cameras.

Johns Creek's special residents will not be left out in the cold. The annual Special Needs Egg Hunt will also be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 15 at the Newtown Park-Park Place Event Lawn.

Shakerag Park is located at 10945 Rogers Circle while the Park Place Event Lawn is at 3150 Old Alabama Road.
