Emory Johns Creek Hospital is hosting a groundbreaking ceremony Thursday to celebrate its expansion that will add 40 beds to the facility.

JOHNS CREEK, GA — Emory Johns Creek Hospital will hold a groundbreaking ceremony on Thursday to showcase the facility’s $61 million dollar expansion. The new development will add 40 beds to the facility.

The groundbreaking will happen at noon on Thursday at the hospital, 6325 Hospital Parkway in Johns Creek.

“In an effort to balance patient demand, Emory Johns Creek Hospital is expanding our space to enhance the patient experience, improve staff efficiency, and streamline care to offer the highest quality academic-based medical care in a community hospital,” said Marilyn Margolis, Emory Johns Creek CEO.

The 110-bed acute care hospital will begin construction this fall. The new area is expected to open in April 2021.
