Emory Orthopaedics To Host Youth Baseball Injury Prevention Workshop

JOHNS CREEK, GA -- Emory Orthopaedics, Sports & Spine will hold a free Youth Baseball Injury Prevention Workshop next month at Emory Johns Creek Hospital.

The workshop is scheduled for 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 21, and is open to all high school baseball leagues.

Coaches, parents, athletes and trainers are welcome to attend the event, which will be led by Scott Maughon, MD.

Sports medicine experts will provide tips to help prevent sports-related injuries, give proper stretching techniques and age-appropriate pitching recommendations.

Attendees are asked to RSVP to the workshop by clicking here. The workshop will be held on the lower level of the hospital in classrooms A and B at 6325 Hospital Parkway in Johns Creek.
