Fulton School Board Meeting

The Fulton County Board of Education will meet tomorrow at Dunwoody Springs Elementary School, located at 8100 Roberts Drive in Sandy Springs, for its April 17 meeting. The school board will convene at 4 p.m. for a workshop on the state’s new Common Core curriculum followed by executive session. At 6 p.m., the meeting will reconvene for a recognitions ceremony and then the public comment session, after which a budget workshop will be held.

Most of the meeting’s agenda items were discussed fully at the April 10 work session and are expected to be approved with little or no discussion at the board table. All topics up for approval are posted on BoardDocs, an online program that makes the school board agenda and all supporting documents available online. The meeting’s business agenda will begin immediately after the public comment session.

School board meetings can be watched live from a computer screen using viewing software such as Windows Media Player or RealPlayer. Audio and video recordings of the meetings are archived to the videostreaming web site within 48 hours of the meeting.
