Johns Creek residents will be able to satisfy their appetite for locally grown fruits and vegetables at the Johns Creek Farmers Market at Newtown Park.
The market will be set up in the parking lot near the Community Garden and the adult activity center. The market will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturdays until Sept. 10.
There will be space for 32 vendors, who will be required to sell locally grown produce that is certified organic, certified naturally grown or sustainably grown. Vendors will offer produce that's ripe and in season.
