Ayodele Heath, who may be Georgia's leading performance poet, will be featured at our next Johns Creek Poetry Group meeting on Saturday, May 19, at the Northeast Spruill Oaks Library. Heath's awards include Pushcart Prize nominee, McEver Visiting Chair in Writing at Georgia Tech; two-time Southeastern Regional Slam Champion, and top 10 finisher at the National Poetry Slam. He is author of Otherness (Brick Boad Poetry Press). This program will be a great time to invite a young poet to join you at the meeting.
