Event Helps Residents Protect Pets From Fires, Disasters

Animal Emergency Center of North Fulton will host its Pet Fire Safety and Disaster Preparedness event in July.

A north Fulton County animal emergency clinic in July will commemorate the American Veterinary Medical Association’s national Pet Fire Safety Day with an event designed to help you shield your four-legged loved one from harm.

Animal Emergency Center of North Fulton will host its second annual Pet Fire Safety and Disaster Preparedness event on Sunday, July 12.

The event, which is free and open to the public, will run from noon to 4 p.m. at 900 Mansell Road in Roswell. We will offer classes on basic pet owner CPR and show you how to make your own pet first aid kit.

Other local pet friendly business and local emergency personnel will also be on hand for residents, as will food, games, music and other activities.
