Explore City Vehicles At Touch-A-Truck In Johns Creek

JOHNS CREEK, GA -- Next week, you can load up the youngsters in the car and take them to Newtown Park to explore the trucks that make Johns Creek run at the popular Touch-A-Truck event.

Set for 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, May 20, the event allows adults and children alike to explore front-end loaders, backhoes, trucks and other equipment. Along with learning about these Public Works vehicles and equipment, children's activities such as face painting, a giant sandbox with prizes, caricature artist and a bounce house will also be on hand.

Of course, the Johns Creek Veterans Association will hand out hot dogs and water to attendees.

Sponsored by the city of Johns Creek Public Works Department, Touch-A-Truck is free and open to the public.

Newtown Park is located at 3150 Old Alabama Road.
