"Paddington 2" will be the final show in the city of Johns Creek's popular series.

JOHNS CREEK, GA — The city of Johns Creek will host its final installment for Movies at Newtown Park on Saturday, Aug. 11. Load up the car with your family and head over to the park to check out "Paddington 2," the final film in the city's 2018 series.

Settled in with the Brown family, Paddington the bear is a popular member of the community who spreads joy and marmalade wherever he goes. One day, he spots a pop-up book in an antique shop — the perfect present for his beloved aunt's 100th birthday.

When a thief steals the prized book, Paddington embarks on an epic quest to unmask the culprit before Aunt Lucy's big celebration.

Movies at Newtown Park are free and include pre-show entertainment such as an inflatable moonwalk, face-painting, children's activities, giveaways and music.

The Patty Wagon food truck will provide food and sweet treats by Kona Ice. Activities begin at 7 p.m. and the movie begins after sunset. The Movies at Newtown Park series is sponsored by Northside Hospital.
