Upon seeing the police unit, the suspect lost control of the vehicle and fled on foot into the parking lot of Autrey Mill Middle School.
That forced police to place the school on lockdown and following a brief chase, the man was apprehended after trying to gain access to the school, Johns Creek police said.
Charges are pending at this time for Stephen, police said. Return to Patch for updates.
