'Fore' Kids Golf Classic Supports Vision Testing, Eyeglasses For Students
The Fulton Education Foundation's 22nd annual event will be held Monday, May 8 in Alpharetta.
ALPHARETTA, GA -- Golfers are practicing their swings for the 22nd annual Fulton Education Foundation “Fore” Kids Golf Classic set for May 8 in Alpharetta.
The day of play is a fundraiser for programs benefiting students and staff of the Fulton County School System.
The tournament begins with check-in at 9:30 a.m. followed by an 11 a.m. shotgun start. Participants will spend the day with Fulton County school leaders, school board members and those from prominent businesses and the community.

A silent auction/raffle and awards reception concludes the event beginning at 4 p.m.
The “Fore” Kids Golf Classic raises money to support vision testing and eyeglass acquisition for students who are otherwise unable to afford them as well as math and science programs, teacher/staff recognition, and programs that support innovative technology teaching methods.

Formed in 1986, the Fulton Education Foundation is a nonprofit organization that enjoys a strong partnership with Fulton County Schools. Its Board of Directors include business and community volunteers who are committed to developing new resources, building collaborative relationships, and strengthening the link between business, community and schools.
