Zumba is a popular fitness program that combines Latin music with easy to follow dance moves for an effective and exhilarating calorie-burning workout.
Bar-less Barre, a ballet-inspired exercise, infuses high energy music with a fun, low-impact, full body workout with the use of light weights and isometric movement followed by stretching sequences to improve posture, balance, and flexibility.
Also coming up this weekend is Walk With A Doc on Saturday, June 8 at 10 a.m.
Walk with a Doc is a health program that brings doctors and patients together. The walk begins at 10 a.m. at Newtown Park, at the Veterans Memorial Walk. The walks take place on the second Saturday of each month, weather permitting.
Presented in partnership with Emory Johns Creek Hospital, every walk will feature a different health topic, each selected to provide information and the opportunity for walkers to ask questions one-on-one with the participating physician. The event is free and open to people of all ages.
