Fulton BOC Approves Senior Facility Rental Fee Increase
The fee increases at the county's four facilities will go into effect Jan. 30.

Johns Creek, GA -- The Fulton County Commission on Wednesday voted to approve a Fulton County Aging and Youth Services Department proposal to increase fees for facility rentals of senior multipurpose facilities.

Commissioners gave citizens the opportunity to respond to the fee increase request during a 10 a.m. Jan. 6 hearing at its meeting.
The fee increases will be effective Jan. 30, and will apply to all residents, non-residents, private and non-profit agencies. The rate increases are outlined below:

Thursday rental rates (based on an hourly rate):
Nonprofit agency rental fee
- Inside Fulton County: $100
- Outside Fulton County: $130
Private Rentals
- Inside Fulton County: $130.00
- Outside Fulton County: $180.00
Additional Hourly Rates
- Inside and outside Fulton County: $100
Application Fee
- Inside and outside Fulton County: $50
Security Deposit
- Inside and outside Fulton County: $300
The minimum number of Thursday rental hours is three hours and the maximum is five hours. All Thursday events must end by 10:30 p.m.
Friday, Saturday and Sunday rental rates (based on an hourly rate):
Application Fee
- Inside and outside Fulton County: $50
Security Deposit
- Inside and outside Fulton County: $300
Private rentals
- Inside Fulton County: $975
- Outside Fulton County: $1,650
Additional hourly rates
- Inside and outside Fulton County: $100
Nonprofit agency rental rates
Benson Senior Multipurpose Facility
- Inside Fulton County: $600
- Outside Fulton County: $1,150
Bowden, Darnell and Mills senior multipurpose facilities
- Inside Fulton County: $700
- Outside Fulton County: $1,150

The Fulton County Office of Aging operates the county’s four Senior Multipurpose Facilities. They include the Dorothy C. Benson Senior Multipurpose Complex, H.J.C. Bowden Senior Multipurpose Facility, Harriett G. Darnell Senior Multipurpose Facility and the Helene S. Mills Senior Multipurpose Facility.
