Parents of students enrolled in a public K-12 school can transfer their children to another school within a district, if space allows.

JOHNS CREEK, GA -- The Fulton County School System has identified 31 schools that can accept transfer students next school year through Georgia’s Quality Basic Education Act.

Approved in 2009, the Intra-District School Choice section of the law allows parents of students enrolled in a public K-12 school to enroll in another school within the district if space allows. Schools eligible for the open enrollment process for the 2016-17 school year are:

Transfer applications are now available online, and the application deadline is 4:30 p.m. May 16. Parents will be notified of their child’s status by June 30.
