Fulton Schools Seek Feedback For ESOL, World Languages Resources

Parents, staff and community are invited to review ESOL and World Language resources currently under consideration by the Fulton County School Board and provide their feedback.

The resources are part of new instructional materials adopted last year by the Georgia Department of Education. Several of these are now under consideration by Fulton County Schools for use in grades kindergarten through 12, and have been vetted by a committee of Fulton teachers, school leaders and central office personnel.

Titles of the materials under review are posted online. Parents and staff can review these at the following sites, and each location has a display with print and digital resources and a way to provide feedback.

World Languages Resources Adoption

The sites will be open for review weekdays from Nov. 1 to Dec. 5 during the hours of 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Feedback collected during this time will be used to make recommendations to the Fulton County School Board in December. The selected materials will go into effect during the 2016-2017 school year.
