GA-400 Southbound To Close For Hospitality Highway Century Ride

The ride, which will include more than 1,500 cyclists, will take place Sunday, July 12.

For the seventh year in a row, part of S.R. 400 southbound will close on Sunday to allow more than 1,500 cyclists to ride their bikes for 3.1 miles as part of the GA-400 Hospitality Highway Century Ride.

Motorists should take note of the following closures necessary for the event to take place:

  • GA-400 from Exit 7 (Holcomb Bridge Road southbound) to Exit 6 (Northridge Road) will be closed from 6:55 a.m. to approximately 7:30 a.m.
  • Holcomb Bridge Road will be closed from 6:40 a.m. to approximately 7:20 a.m. for the bike riders to go from Market Boulevard to the GA-400 ramp.

Please note that the time at which the roads reopen is approximate, as it is dependent upon how quickly the cyclists finish that part of the route.

The GA-400 Hospitality Highway Century Ride supports local cycling charities and Junior Flyers, a youth cycling team that fights childhood obesity.
