Gas Line Relocation To Close One Lane on Old Alabama Road
From 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 22, only one lane of travel will be allowed between Buice and Medlock Bridge roads in Johns Creek.

The Georgia Department of Transportation is advising motorists that on Thursday, Old Alabama Road between Buice and Medlock Bridge roads will be reduced to one lane of travel while Atlanta Gas Light relocates a gas mainline.

The lane closure will be in effect from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Oct. 22.
The utility relocation will require similar lane shifts during the evenings from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. from:

• Monday, Oct. 26 to Thursday, Oct.29
• Monday, Nov. 2 to Thursday, Nov. 5
• Monday, Nov. 9 to Thursday Nov. 12
During the AGL utility relocation, GDOT will post flaggers and possibly other measures to help guide traffic. Motorists should expect delays and, if possible, find an alternate route.
