Get Rid Of Unwanted Medications at Drug Take-Back Day
The Johns Creek Police Department will take part in the National Take Back initiative on Saturday, April 29.

JOHNS CREEK, GA -- Residents can discard unwanted prescription medications and other pharmaceuticals as part of the Johns Creek Police Department's participation in the National Take Back initiative.
The city's event will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 29 at Target in Johns Creek.
Anyone with expired, unwanted, or excess pharmaceutical controlled substances and other medicines can turn them in anonymously to Johns Creek officers in the parking lot of Target at 5950 State Bridge Road.

The event, sponsored by the Johns Creek Police Department in conjunction with the Drug Enforcement Administration, is designed to reduce prescription drug abuse; reduce the risk of prescription drugs entering the water; and help people comply with the law regarding disposal of prescription drugs.
