Grant Helps LifeLine Maintain No-Kill Status at Fulton Animal Shelter

ATLANTA, GA -- The Petco Foundation this week awarded LifeLine Animal Project its Lifesaving Impact Grant.

The $1.5 million grant recognizes the organization's work in helping transform Atlanta into a lifesaving community, and is the largest award the foundation has given to an animal welfare sheltering organization.
The grant will also help LifeLine's efforts to sustain no-kill status at its Fulton and DeKalb county shelters. LifeLine notes its no-kill status threshold is a 90 percent or greater lifesaving rate.

LIfeLine Animal Project is also encouraging Atlanta residents to take part in its "I'm In" campaign by adopting 20,000 dogs and cats over the next three years.
Atlanta residents are encouraged to join in the pledge and show their support through adoptions and promotions on social media by using #In4LifeLine and #LoveChangesEverything.
