Group Seeks To Recognize Environmentally-Friendly Projects
The Fulton County Commission on the Environment will recognize environmentally-sound practices at its annual Environmental Awards Program.

The Fulton County Commission on the Environment is asking you to submit nominations of development projects, community organizations and individuals in Fulton County that advocate and exemplify environmentally-sound practices to be recognized at its annual Environmental Awards Program.
The program will be held at the Fulton County Commission's Oct. 18 meeting. Nominations must be postmarked or emailed no later than Tuesday, August 15.
The FCCCE is a citizen environmental advisory group appointed by the County Commission to investigate environmental concerns; to make recommendations to the Board of Commissioners on environmental policies; and to increase public awareness, understanding and involvement concerning environmental issues.
