Guitarist Tim Sparks To Perform in Johns Creek

The award-winning musician will take the stage at 8 p.m. June 18 as part of Autrey Mill Nature Preserve's Unplugged concert series.

JOHNS CREEK, GA -- The next installment of the Autrey Mill Nature Preserve's Unplugged concert series will return on Saturday, June 18 with a performance by Tim Sparks.

The award-winning guitarist will serenade audiences starting at 8 p.m. at Warsaw Church.

Sparks won the National Fingerpicking Championship in 1993 with his groundbreaking arrangement of Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker Suite. His diverse repertoire includes early traditional country blues and gospel, as well as jazz, Be Bop, classic, country and world music.

A pre-concert gathering with refreshments starts at 7 p.m. in the Summerour House. Based on feedback gathered from attendees, organizers have streamlined things for residents.

You no longer need to check in with your ticket at the Summerour House before the concert. Tickets will be checked at the door to the Warsaw Church, beginning at 7:30 p.m. Along with refreshments (available for purchase) and socializing with other concert-goers, you will also be able to take a tour of the Summerour House.
