Tonight is Halloween. A night for ghosts and goblins and trick-or-treaters. I remember fondly when my girls were young and I would sew their costumes – a princess, a witch, a clown, … My husband would wheel them around the neighborhood in a big wheelbarrow to save them a few steps in their attempt to visit every house for candy. On arriving home they would dump out their treat bags and marvel at all the candy they collected.
One of the pleasures of door-to-door campaigning has been seeing all the wonderful Halloween displays homeowners have put up. The residents of Johns Creek really go all out for the occasion. The displays and carved pumpkins are very creative!
Go out tonight, meet your neighbors, and have fun with the kids. Our house is stocked with the good stuff because we know who will be eating any candy the trick-or-treaters do not take.
