Hooch’s Phillips Will Wrestle at The Citadel

After winning state championship title in 2017, Phillips finished his high school career with a 44-2 record

JOHNS CREEK, Ga. – Chattahoochee High School’s Ethan Phillips has committed to join the wrestling team at The Citadel, the Military College of South Carolina in Charleston.

Phillips captured a championship title in the 2017 GHSA Traditional State Championships in the 138-pound weight class, finishing his high school career with a 44-2 overall record. His other honors include winning the Cougar Award, Captains Award, Most Improved 2014-15 and Rookie of the Year 2013-14.
