Hooch's Field to Play Soccer at Columbus State

Chattahoochee High School’s Sonia Field has signed a national letter of intent to play soccer at Columbus State University, an NCAA Division II school competing in the Peach Belt Conference.

At Chattahoochee, Field was a four-year letterman on teams that won the Region championship and, her freshman year, went to the Elite Eight in the state tournament. Field was named to the all-region soccer team her junior year.

She has been involved with organized club soccer for seven years, most recently on the Region III Premier League, Southern Premier League and National League team from Norcross, winners of the state championship and regional semifinalists. During her time at Norcross, she traveled and competed on the East Coast as well as in Alabama, California and Texas.
