Hooch's Lynch to play volleyball at West Virginia University

Chattahoochee High School's Briana Lynch will play volleyball at West Virginia University, Morgantown, West Virginia.

JOHNS CREEK, Ga. – Chattahoochee High School’s Briana Lynch has accepted an athletic scholarship to West Virginia University in Morgantown, West Virginia. West Virginia University is a Division I school competing in the Big 12 Conference.

At West Virginia, Lynch will play volleyball as a middle attacker under Coach Reed Sunahara.

While at CHS, Lynch was a four-year letterman and was named Offensive Player of the Year in 2015, 6-AAAAAA All Area First Team, 7-AAAAAA All Area First Team, GVCA All Region First Team, and received the Chattahoochee Cougar Award.

In addition to playing in high school, Lynch, an honor roll student, played volleyball for the A5 Volleyball club starting in middle school.
