The city will kick off the 2015 holiday season during the ceremony, which is scheduled for Monday, Nov. 30 at Johns Creek City Hall.
Festivities start at 6:30 p.m. with Christmas carols by the State Bridge Crossing Elementary School chorus, followed by the lighting of the tree and dreidel at 12000 Findley Road in Johns Creek.

Old St. Nick will hear youngsters’ wish lists. Free hot chocolate, s’mores and hotdogs will be available while they last, too. There will be crafts, face-painting, and kids’ activities, including trackless train rides. The Santa Jam celebration concludes at 8:30 p.m.
People can sign a montage of card designs submitted by Johns Creek elementary schools fifth graders. The cards will be given to veterans at the Atlanta Veterans Affairs Medical Center on Dec. 11. The cards also can be signed that week at City Hall.
The Marine Corps Toys for Tots program will be collecting new toys for under-privileged children.
