ICYMI: Johns Creek Egg Hunts Set For April 15

The Spring Park Party and Egg Hunt will take place at Shakerag Park and the Special Needs Egg Hunt will be held at Newtown Park.

JOHNS CREEK, GA -- We are just days away from the city of Johns Creek hosting its annual Easter egg hunts for youngsters and special needs residents alike.

The annual Special Needs Easter Egg Hunt will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 15 at Newtown Park's Park Place Event Lawn.

Attendees can expect to take part in an egg hunt, games, music and enjoy a visit with the Easter Bunny.

The eggs will be filled with prizes and candy (nut free). This is an inclusive event, and siblings of special needs children are encouraged to attend and welcome to participate. Egg hunters will need to bring their own baskets and parents should bring their own cameras. The event is free and no registration is required.

While it will be held in a new location, the Easter Egg Hunt and Spring Park Party is sure to once again delight the little ones and their parents alike. This year's event will also be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 15 at Shakerag Park.

The hunt will be structured according to age with youngsters organized by ages 0-2, 3-4, 5-7, and 8-10.
Activities include face painting, a moonwalk, and photos with the Easter Bunny. Egg hunters should bring their own baskets, and parents should bring their own cameras.

Shakerag Park is located at 10945 Rogers Circle while the Park Place Event Lawn is at 3150 Old Alabama Road.
