ICYMI: Movies At Newtown Park Start Saturday
The free event includes pre-show entertainment such as face-painting, children's activities, music, food and an inflatable moonwalk.

JOHNS CREEK, GA -- The city of Johns Creek is gearing up for its Movies at Newtown Park series, a popular event that will return to the park on Saturday, June 11.
The 2016 installment will kick off with the Pixar 3D computer-animated film “Inside Out."
“Inside Out” is about a girl named Riley Anderson who moves from Minnesota to San Francisco. Her five primary emotions – joy, sadness, fear, disgust and anger – are characters in her mind’s headquarters who influence her actions through a main console. Their efforts to maintain her emotional state go awry with insightful and comical results.

Movies at Newtown Park is free and includes pre-show entertainment such as an inflatable moonwalk, face-painting, children's activities, giveaways, music, food and drinks. A food truck, Urban Taali, will be available as well. Pre-show activities begin at 7 p.m.
The movies start at dusk and are shown on a large inflatable screen. Families are encouraged to bring blankets and relax as they watch the movie. No alcohol or pets are allowed.

The movie titles -- rated G or PG -- will be announced a week prior to each event. Future dates are July 9 and Aug. 3.
