ICYMI: Pup-a-Palooza Trots Into Town on Saturday

A party specifically dedicated to all the dogs and puppies in Johns Creek will be held on Saturday.

The city’s Pup-a-Palooza event will kick off at 2 p.m. Sept. 12 at Newtown Park, and will give pets and their owners a chance to check out local vendors booths for treats, services and advice on pet care.

For the dogs who like to put on a show, the city will host a friendly competition for best dressed and best tricks contests during the event.

In addition to the contests, the puppy party includes music, and caricature sketches of people with their furry pals. For the humans, there will be free food and goodie bags while they last.

Pet care vendors will have booths to demonstrate new products and educate dog owners about pet care.

Residents who plan to attend are advised to make sure their pets are current in all their vaccinations so everyone comes home healthy and safe.
