'I'll Be' Singer Edwin McCain To Perform In Johns Creek Saturday

JOHNS CREEK, GA — The 2019 Summer Concert Series continues on Saturday, Aug. 3, featuring artist Edwin McCain, known for his love songs “I’ll Be” and “I Could Not Ask For More.” He has built his 20-year career touring annually performing an upward of 100 shows throughout the US. The New York Times calls him the “great American romantic” and his music has been covered by contestants on The Voice and American Idol. His performance is sure to entertain the crowd.

Opening for McCain is the Atlanta-based band Sailing to Denver, bringing their unique spin on roots/rock Americana.

The concert will feature the food trucks Lil Bites, Pay it Forkward, 6 Pack Subs, Let's Taco Bout It and King of Pops for some sweet treats. Beer and wine will be available for purchase. For those looking for a little more room, you can reserve round tables for up to eight people, under the amphitheater by calling 678-512-3200.

2019 Concert Schedule:

  • Saturday, Sept. 7 – Tribute (Allman Brothers Tribute Band) and The Core (Eric Clapton Tribute Band)
  • Saturday, Oct. 5 - Johns Creek Symphony Orchestra (classical)

The concerts are free. Gates Open at 6 p.m. and the concert starts at 7 p.m. No outside alcohol and no pets (only trained service animals) are allowed. The Mark Burkhalter Amphitheater is located at Newtown Park, 3150 Old Alabama Road in Johns Creek.
