Issure Yang Announces Candidacy For Johns Creek City Council
Issure Yang, who is running for Post 6, said she is motivated by her desire to solve the problems plaguing Johns Creek residents.

JOHNS CREEK, GA — Issure Yang, long-time resident and vocal community advocate, recently announced her candidacy for Johns Creek City Council Post 6.
Yang said she is motivated by her desire to solve the problems plaguing Johns Creek Residents. She wants to focus on relieving traffic congestion, preserving the community, supporting local businesses, and advocating fiscal responsibility.
Like many of her neighbors, many of whom she said feel like their voices are not being heard by elected officials, Yang believes there is a more balanced and fiscally responsible way to manage and direct the future of Johns Creek for the maximum benefit of its residents.

“This is our city," she said. "We must not only listen to our residents but truly represent them. Our residents are intelligent and should be kept engaged so that our city can reach its full potential. If there is any city with potential, it’s Johns Creek."
Yang is running for Johns Creek City Council Post 6 with the goal of making sure residents are represented and their voices are heard.

Yang has lived in and around Johns Creek for almost 30 years. She currently lives off of Old Alabama Road and is heavily invested in the success of the city, its residents, and its businesses.
Yang is the proud mother of her daughter, Sydney, a graduate of Johns Creek High School and a junior at the University of Georgia, and her younger son, Zack, who is a senior at Johns Creek High School. Yang is also pleased to live near her parents, both retired and residents of Johns Creek for more than 30 years.

Yang joins Erin Elwood and Judy LeFave who have qualified as candidates for Johns Creek City Council Post 6. There is no incumbent for this seat as current Post 6 Council Member Steve Broadbent is not seeking reelection.
The deadline for Johns Creek residents to register to vote is Monday, Oct. 7. Early voting will be held Oct. 15 through Nov. 1 and early voting locations will be posted on the Fulton County elections website.
Absentee voters can view application information on the Fulton County elections website. Voters can locate their polling place on the Secretary of State website.
