JC Symphony's Season 5 Debuts Saturday

The on Saturday with a cello concerto that is sure to "delight and inspire."

"Masterworks!" is Saturday, Oct. 29, at 8 p.m. at and features Haydn’s Concerto in C Major for Cello and Orchestra; Rosamunde Overture by Schubert and Mendelssohn’s Incidental Music for a Midsummer Night’s Dream.

Meghan McGuire, principal cellist, is the concert's featured soloist. Maestro J. Wayne Baughman will lead the orchestra.

This is the first JCSO guest performance for McGuire, who has performed with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, the Savannah Philharmonic, the Minnesota Orchestra and with Yo-Yo Ma.
